A gift to the big banks

 

Working people in Central Queensland know that we need more investment in local schools & hospitals - not a massive handout for the big banks.

That's why it's so outrageous that LNP MP Ken O'Dowd voted 5 times
to
 give the big banks a $17 billion corporate tax cut.

Not only did Ken O'Dowd vote 5 times to give the banks a $17 billion corporate tax cut, but he voted 25 times to block a banking royal commission as well.

Ken O'Dowd voted 8 times
to cut penalty rates

At the same time Ken O'Dowd was voting in support of giving the big banks
a $17 billion corporate tax cut, he has also voted to give local workers a pay cut.

Ken O'Dowd voted 8 times to cut workers' penalty rates despite
local workers urging him not to.

In Flynn these cuts will hit 5831 people.

To add insult, on the very same day that these locals had their penalty rates cut again, Ken O'Dowd received a pay rise of $4,060.
